Deposit Policy

Accepted Answer

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure all tattoo appointments. An appointment is only confirmed once the deposit has been received. The deposit will be applied toward the final cost of your project and is specific to the design discussed during your consultation.

Booking Multiple Sessions
For multi-session projects, your deposit will be carried forward and applied to the final session of the project.

Back-to-Back Appointments
Back-to-back session bookings require a deposit for each scheduled full day. At the completion of each session, the corresponding deposit will be applied toward that day’s total.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
With sufficient notice (minimum 72hr before appointment time), deposits may be transferred to a new appointment date at my discretion. However, frequent rescheduling, short-notice changes to your tattoo idea, cancellations, or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of your deposit. Please provide as much notice as possible via email.

Late Policy
If you are late to your appointment, the missed time may be added and billed at the end of the tattoo session. Thank you for respecting my time.

Deposits are valid for one year following your last appointment.
By sending me a deposit, you are acknowledging and agreeing to the above policy.

My rate is $220/hr, charged on actual tattooing time. Final pricing is determined by the skin condition, size, placement, and overall complexity of the design. During our consultation, I will provide a price estimate based on your specific project.

How do I book a tattoo appointment?

Please complete the Tattoo Request Form as thoroughly as possible to help me understand your vision. You do not need to have every detail finalized; allowing room for artistic interpretation is always appreciated and often leads to the strongest results.

Once your form has been reviewed, I will contact you to schedule either an in-person or Zoom consultation to refine the concept and discuss the details of your design.

Kindly allow 3–6 business days for a response.

Online consultation

Online consultations are complimentary and designed to help us discuss your ideas, placement, sizing, and overall vision.

To ensure adequate preparation time, please schedule your online consultation at least one month prior to your preferred tattoo start date.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, please provide as much notice as possible. Multiple no-shows or repeated short-notice cancellations may result in a $25 booking fee for future consultation appointments.

How far in advance should I plan for my tattoo?

I typically book projects 2 to 3 months in advance. However, sooner appointment dates may become available if there are cancellations or reschedules. The best way to stay updated on openings is by following my Instagram, where I frequently update my availability.

Additionally, depending on the scope of your project, I might be able to expedite the tattoo's designing process, which could lead to an earlier booking. This flexibility ensures you get timely, high-quality results tailored to your needs.

Question 7

How far apart should my appointments be?

If you are traveling for your project or would like to accelerate progress, up to three consecutive full-day sessions may be scheduled. This approach allows us to maximize efficiency and complete more work within a single healing period.

If you prefer to space your sessions apart, please allow approximately three weeks of healing time between appointments to ensure best possible outcome.

Can I request a privacy station?

Yes, while being tattooed at Liquid Amber Tattoo in Vancouver.

For your peace of mind, our workstations are equipped with dividers to provide a private cubicle during the tattooing process. Please inform me at our consultation if you have specific privacy needs or would like a more secluded setup.
